Churros Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • Oil, for deep frying
  • Cinnamon sugar, for coating
  • Dairyland Biscotti Ice Cream
  • Dairyland Chocolate Sauce

Method

  1. Add milk and butter to a pot and let it warm up until the butter has fully melted.
  2. Add the flour and mix using a spatula. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Take the mixture out into a large bowl and spread it a little. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Crack in one egg at a time making sure to mix well in between.
  5. Once it is pipeable consistency, fill a piping bag with a star nozzle with the batter.
  6. Grease the back of a cupcake tray with some oil and then pipe the batter on it to form a cup shape.
  7. Freeze for at least an hour and then take it out of the tray and deep fry for 4 to 5 minutes on a low flame, until golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over it and then add a scoop of biscotti ice cream in each churros cup, drizzle chocolate sauce and enjoy.
