Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup salted butter* softened
  • 11/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (keep the 1/2 cup for dusting)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (Include dark, white and milk chocolate chunks)

Method

 

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees C.
  2. Line a baking pan with foil/parchment paper and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl mix 3 cups flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder. Set aside.
  4. Cream together butter and sugars until combined and light.
  5. Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
  6. Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
  7. Add chocolate chips and mix well. Use a table spoon or ice cream scoop to place balls of the dough  (use half a cup if necessary to scoop the dough efficiently) evenly spaced on your prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake in preheated oven at 120 degrees for approximately 10-15 minutes.
  9. Let them sit on the baking pan for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
