Chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter* softened
- 11/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (keep the 1/2 cup for dusting)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (Include dark, white and milk chocolate chunks)
Method
- Preheat oven to 170 degrees C.
- Line a baking pan with foil/parchment paper and set aside.
- In a separate bowl mix 3 cups flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder. Set aside.
- Cream together butter and sugars until combined and light.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
- Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Add chocolate chips and mix well. Use a table spoon or ice cream scoop to place balls of the dough (use half a cup if necessary to scoop the dough efficiently) evenly spaced on your prepared baking sheets.
- Bake in preheated oven at 120 degrees for approximately 10-15 minutes.
- Let them sit on the baking pan for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
