Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Dairyland Salted Caramel Ice Cream, for serving
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180C.
- Pour the butter, brown sugar and white sugar in a large mixing bowl and whisk.
- Crack in the eggs and vanilla and whisk again.
- Add the flour and cocoa powder and use a spatula to fold the dry ingredients into the wet.
- Once combined, add ¾ cup of the chocolate chips and fold into the batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake tray (9×13 inch) and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over it.
- Bake for 25 minutes and let it cool down for 20 minutes before slicing.
- Slice into squares and serve with a scoop of Dairyland salted caramel ice cream.
