Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Dairyland Salted Caramel Ice Cream, for serving

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180C.
  2. Pour the butter, brown sugar and white sugar in a large mixing bowl and whisk.
  3. Crack in the eggs and vanilla and whisk again.
  4. Add the flour and cocoa powder and use a spatula to fold the dry ingredients into the wet.
  5. Once combined, add ¾ cup of the chocolate chips and fold into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake tray (9×13 inch) and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over it.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes and let it cool down for 20 minutes before slicing.
  8. Slice into squares and serve with a scoop of Dairyland salted caramel ice cream.
